Seattle-Based Reality Series 'Caught In The Middle' Now Available on AT&T Broadband
New Season Begins Wednesday, January 1, 2003 Only on WAM!

    ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Dec. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- WAM! America's Kidz Network's
award-winning reality series "Caught in the Middle," shot entirely in the
Seattle-Tacoma area, will be available on AT&T Broadband Digital Cable when
its fourth season premieres only on WAM! at 8 p.m. ET/PT, Wednesday,
January 1, 2003.
"Caught in the Middle" is the first and longest-running reality series to
film actual middle school students making the transition to high school.
In the new season, WAM! will venture into the halls of the Tacoma School of
the Arts (SOTA) to profile the experiences of eight savvy, culturally diverse
and artistically talented students.
"We are extremely proud to make WAM! and this exciting series available to
our AT&T Broadband customers," said Rick Germano, senior regional vice
president, AT&T Broadband. "WAM!, with its quality educational programming,
is an outstanding addition to our programming line-up and we are particularly
honored to bring this unique series home where it belongs."
"Caught in the Middle" helps take the fear and uncertainty out of the
turbulent transition to high school. And the Puget Sound/Seattle area is a
great place to develop original programming that captures the energy, talent
and commitment of young people," said Midge Pierce vice president WAM!
programming. "WAM! is proud to make this series available through
AT&T Broadband.
The "Caught in the Middle" series was created by Matt Chan and co-produced
with Seattle-based Screaming Flea Productions. The season four real-live cast
will include the following eight students from the Tacoma SOTA:

Whitney is known as the diva of this cast. She likes all forms of art and
enjoys singing and dancing, a perfect fit for art school. When she's not
polishing her talent, she likes to ride horses and chill with her friends.
She describes herself as the type of person who gets along with everyone, and
with her outgoing personality she will probably not have trouble fitting in.

Mike doesn't like to follow the rules. He wants to be an actor and
believes that going to art school is the logical first step. Mike is also a
talented guitar player and enjoys programming video games in his spare time.
He enjoys listening to the latest music, especially punk, but his favorite
band of all time is the Beatles.

Epiphany is a poet and is looking forward to songwriting class where
she'll enjoy putting her prose to work. She also will take photography.
Epiphany says she is a "poser" because she skateboards and nobody knows that
she does. In her spare time she likes to hang out with her friends, and eat.
She also helps her Dad in the bike shop he owns.

Renior loves music and is extremely talented -- he is under the tutelage
of the principal tympani player for the Seattle Symphony -- a high honor.
A bit shy, he also enjoys cars and girls and can hardly wait to get his
license in a year. His Mom hopes that going to the School of the Arts will
help him keep his grades up. Music class will certainly not be a problem for
Renior.

Well traveled, Kimberly is an Army brat in Tacoma for the first time with
her Mom and stepfather. She is the kid in class who just won't shut up.
She has lots of opinions and doesn't shy away from sharing them. She plays
the flute and is enrolled in two band courses and choir, classes she prefers
over her academic subjects.

Nicole is determined to hold onto the memories of football games,
homecoming -- and her boyfriend Wilson -- a star baseball player from her old
school. An actress, dancer and painter, Nicole knew the students at SOTA
would have a funkier style than hers -- she' a little preppy -- so she waited
until after school began to do her school shopping. Fast to meet friends, she
met Charity on the first day. Let's see how Nicole, with her self-proclaimed
"perfect teeth" -- four years of braces -- will adjust to the kids at SOTA.

Rocker and jock Erick is looking for an experience different from his
school sports days at Stadium High School, even though he still plays football
and enjoys the early dismissal. Erick plays bass guitar and is hoping to
create a band at SOTA. He's also an American Indian and is very active in the
Puyallup Tribe where he canoes weekly.

Leigh's first name is Amber, but she decided to go by Leigh when she
learned that there were so many Ambers at SOTA. Leigh is tough on the
outside, but really very nice when you get to know her. She's a piano player
and actress who is looking forward to new experiences. She has a large,
blended family, including 9 sets of grandparents, which she enjoys.
